Renaissance Chic

Pretty sugary treats graced the catwalks and candle lit our wintery days. Think peaches’n’cream and romantic pastels adorning heavy layers and frills for a feminine chic look as shown by Chloe, Jean Paul Gaultier and Michael Kors. Try French Connection, Warehouse and Oasis for lace jackets, frilled blouses, feathered skirts, tiered or fringed dresses and silk playsuits for a deliciously demure look.

Go for elegant separates and maxi dresses from Warehouse and rose petal make up from Revlon but don’t be afraid to sneak in the siren with splits, sheer fabrics and beautiful underwear.

Be an edgy cupcake for this seasons new romantic look.

Tribal

Aztec and African theme prints, chunky plated jewellery and rich colour pallets form this fierce front and meet with military for a bold new look. Marc Jacobs grabbed the first row with slouch pants and Gucci’s beautiful print dress shows us how to wear bold colours and designs with a nod to the exotic.

Check out Monsoon’s Fusion range for some of this season’s new jumpsuits with beaded bibs for a real style match. Team your look with chunky wedges or boho sandals on the shelves now at Next, also head to Monsoon’s jewellery section for loads of big bangles and detailed day bags. Or for an understated look, add a splash of catwalk to a little black dress with a pair of oh so stylish tribal heels.

Bang your drum and feel the sun blazing. It’s tribal time.

Modern Military

This season has seen military get some serious style mastery with Chloe, Balmain, Burberry Prorsum and Celine leading the assault on the runway. Sharp military tailoring is found in drummer boy jackets, try Warehouse and Jane Norman or head to Marks and Spencer for longer length coats while tops get sequin and embellishment treatments to team with chic combat shorts which you can pick up in French Connection.

It’s a shoe lover’s dream with this look with cut-away shoe boots, sandals, canvas and slouch boots worn over bare legs all available at. It’s a sand meets jungle melange of khaki, camel, green and gold for this uber-cool look. Kurt Geiger have a fabulously funky collection this season.

The Military look has landed. Stand to attention.

24 hour party people

It’s time to pump up the party this season with strong bright colours, fabulous fabrics and plenty of party prints to set the night alight. While Versace and Gucci put the drama into the party Diva, Marc Jacobs opts for playful partying with frills, poufs and taffeta. One shoulder, high splits and daring designs allow us to flash the flesh in a way that is stylishly seductive, bag yourself gorgeous pieces from Karen Millen, Coast and Escada.

And it’s not all about the dress when it comes to partying - jumpsuits cinched with waist belts coupled with show time shoe boots make for a jaw-dropping look. Check out French Connection for this funky look.

Walk tall and feel amazing. The night is yours.

Denim on Denim

Love it or hate it – it’s here and causing a kafuffle. Double Denim. It paved the way for a generation of permed-up pop divas and now it’s back. Reiss, William Rast and Dolce & Gabbana all show cased combining detail on stitching, distressed tees with lashings of leather for a 21st century spin for Spring/Summer.

Tasselled leather and suede in boots, Mulberry’s selection this season is not to be missed. Jackets and waistcoats thrown into the denim mix make way for a trip on to the wild-west side, head to Oasis and Gap, they have denim every which way.

Lasso yourself a new wardrobe. It’s denim all the way.
