Head-to-toe black has always been one of the fashion pack’s go-to looks and this season is no different.

On the formal front, tailored wool trousers by The Kooples and Levi's are a great way to kick off the look, but if you really want to invest in this timeless trend then opt for smart leather styles by the likes of Diesel, or a black blazer with leather lapels for textural panache. A band collar shirt by Aigle or a rollneck sweater by Gertrude+Gaston make for great pieces you can also wear casually with a long black coat or a biker jacket. Add a sprinkling of silver jewellery for a gothic contrast and use sneakers or military boots to keep the look contemporary.

The sure thing for total black looks! For a mysterious or rock side perfect for mid-season or winter! The idea is to play with materials. A nice black leather to accessorize this Diesel t-shirt, without forgetting the basic Levis jeans (my guilty pleasure that I decline in several colors)
