Right from the outset, when founder William Riley and his partner Arthur Hall sold shoes and arch supports to police officers, waiters and other workers forced to spend most of their day on their feet, the brand was identified as capable of understanding and satisfying the real needs of its customers.
Its philosophy still applies today and is based on customer satisfaction, emphasising that: a superior quality product will sell more for its technical features and quality than because some famous sports person is paid to wear and endorse it. NB chose this path in the ‘90s and it has never looked back.
The Brand continues to invest in research in order to improve its technologies and production techniques to guarantee better fitting shoes and athletic apparel to its athletes and customers.
