Charity of the year

Guide Dogs Ashford

We are proud to support Guide Dogs Ashford as our 2019 charity of the year.

We are delighted to announce Guide Dogs Ashford, the Ashford Fundraising Branch of Guide Dogs, as our new charity partnership for 2019.

Volunteers from the charity will be working in partnership with us throughout the year across a variety of activities and events to raise money. Stay tuned for the activities on this page as they launch throughout the year.

“We’re thrilled to be announcing our new charity partner for 2019. Guide Dogs Ashford constant work to ensure the blind or partially sighted can enjoy the same freedom of movement as others in our community is of great importance to us and we’re so excited to be supporting the work they do.”

Who are Guide Dogs Ashford?

Guide Dogs Ashford, all of whom are volunteers, are part of a network of local groups who play a key role in raising awareness and funds. Many are guide dog owners or puppy walkers who are trained as speakers taking their dogs to visit local schools and societies to talk about how the lives of people visually impaired are changed by a guide dog.
