Update 23/03/2020 | 8.30pm

Following the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, we note the latest announcement from the British Government that all shops selling non-essential goods shall close from 24 March 2020 for an initial period of three weeks.

Based on this announcement, we anticipate all retail stores in East Midlands Designer Outlet centre to be closed from 24 March 2020 for that period.

Needless to say that these continue to be challenging times for people across the globe and we sincerely hope that you and your families stay safe.

Following the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, we note the latest announcement from the British Government made on 20 March 2020 which includes the requirement for certain venues, including restaurants, cafes and cinemas, to close to the public from midnight tonight until further notice.

Based on this announcement, we anticipate that all restaurants in the East Midlands Designer Outlet Center will be closed from 21 March 2020 until further notice.

Please note, however, that the announcement did permit certain exceptions to these restrictions.

These are challenging times, for people across the globe. We obviously understand your concerns regarding COVID-19.

The safety and welfare of our customers and employees are of the utmost importance to East Midlands Designer Outlet.

We are closely following the advice from the local health authorities and emphasise to both customers and centre employees that good hygiene is the key to minimising the spread of this virus. To this end, we are providing hand sanitisers throughout our centres and have increased cleaning in public areas.

Following the outbreak of the COVID-19, we will be reducing the trading hours at East Midlands Designer Outlet to 10am - 6pm effective of March 18th 2020.

However, some stores may have taken the decision to close. Please check the below for store closures. We apologise for any inconvenience that this might cause.
