OUR IMPACT
We are striving to protect the environment and reduce the direct environmental impact of our operations. As part of this, we have launched the "Recycle Your Fashion" initiative to breathe new life into your old clothes.How does it work?
1 - Simply drop your pre-loved items off at our Guest Services.
2 - All the items collected are either donated to those in need or recycled.
3 - As a thank you, you will receive 10% off for your next visit to the centre.
As part of our climate action, we have nature houses in centre, a biodigester, rainwater harvester, and more!
More ways we are making changes
Rainwater Harvesting
Our Rainwater Harvesting system collects and filters rainwater which is then used in our toilet block closest to Guest Services to provide a sustainable water supply - saving an estimated 586,000 litres a year!

Inviting guests to help themselves to our herb garden.
Our biodigester
Aiding our food recycling and waste management. Between January and July 2024, we diverted 16 tonnes of waste from landfill.

OUR COMMUNITIES
This year we have partnered with a range of local organisations to support the vital work they do, help them to raise funds and bring about further awareness within our community.
South Normanton Community Group is our charity of the year, and we've also partnered with Chesterfield Pride, Next Door Dance Company, The Book Bus and the Mobile Health Unit. Our team also volunteer in the local community and have:
- Litterpicked in the local area
- Volunteered in a local community school, offering handyman support whilst without a caretaker.

OUR FOUNDATIONS
Did you know we have 18 electric car charging points available ... perfect for a pitstop whilst you shop!
All units include universal charging for all types of electric vehicles, allowing charge in as little as 3 hours for most cars. We also have 8 Tesla Superchargers which offer the fastest charging option when away from home, allowing you to charge your car up to 200 miles in 15 minutes.

As part of our commitment to reduce catering waste, we partner with food and beverage outlets to recycle their used coffee grounds as garden fertiliser. Why not visit Guest Services to pick up a bag to take home!
