What could be more welcome than creamy hot chocolate to cosy up with on the sofa or around the fire? This easy recipe only takes 20 minutes to create. It's packed with roasted chestnuts, honey, cinnamon and dark chocolate with some whipped cream on top for a real treat. Serve hot in Le Creuset 350ml mugs for smiles all round!

Cooking time: 10 - 15 minutes
½ cup (80g) pre-cooked roasted chestnuts 1 ½ cups (375ml) full cream milk 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla paste Zest of 1 orange 1 cinnamon stick 2 tsp (10ml) honey 100g 70% dark chocolate, plus extra for serving Whipped cream or foamy milk, to serve
Finely chop the chesnuts and place in a medium-sized Le Creuset casserole. Add the milk, vanilla paste, orange zest and cinnamon stick.
On a medium heat, bring the milk to the boil, stirring occasionally. Turn off the heat and allow the milk to infused for a few minutes. Add the chocolate and honey to the warm milk and remove the cinnamon stick. Using a hand blender, blend until smooth and velvety.
Serve in Le Creuset 350ml mugs with whipped cream or foamy milk and a generous sprinkle of grated chocolate.
Rye flour may be substituted for a wholemeal flour if preferred.
Ground cardamom may be used instead of ginger as an alternative flavour.
