Ecoalf was born in 2009 with the mission to stop using the planet's natural resources indiscriminately to guarantee the needs of future generations and with the vision to create products of the same quality and design as those that are not recycled.  We work to ensure a new business model within the fashion world that is capable to create a balance between our present and future needs as well as the health of the planet. We are committed to at least maintaining this planet as we have found it (... if not improving it) for future generations.

Ecoalf has been part of the Bcorp community since 2015. The Bcorp is a new model of companies that balances social purposes and economic benefits. Ecoalf has also joined the #zeronet2030 commitment as part of the Bcorp community. Our goal is to reach zero net greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. This means that all greenhouse gas emissions derived from our collections will be reduced or offset until they reach zero.

We recycled 1,4 million plastic bottles from the Autumn collection, made of 96% recycled polyester and 4% conventional polyester.

In 2015 Ecoalf, through its Foundation, embarked on its most ambitious project: Upcycling the Oceans, a global adventure that will help to eliminate marine waste from the bottom of the oceans thanks to the support of fishermen. It is a revolutionary project that aims to be established in other parts of the world, the main objective of which is to recover the rubbish that is destroying the oceans and transform it into top quality yarn for making garments. This pioneering initiative has a threefold objective: to remove the waste that damages marine ecosystems from our oceans; to give a second life to the recovered waste through the circular economy; and to raise awareness of the global problem of marine litter.
