In accordance with the latest version of the SARS-CoV-2 Protection Regulation in the state of North Rhine Westfalia, dated 20th August 2021, indoor areas of restaurants and catering facilities may only be used by fully vaccinated or convalescent persons or those with a negative test. The test must be a negative PCR- or Antigen test and must be based on a sample given within the last 48 hours at the time of their visit.
Children in compulsory education or those with a student ID are considered to be tested persons given they take part in compulsory testing programs at school. Children not yet attending school and without a test are treated as tested individuals. Those taking their food outside or entering the premises only to use toilet facilities, are exempt from the above.
In fixed seating or standing areas, masks can be taken off provided a distance of 1,5m is upheld between tables or a partition is being used. Otherwise a mask must be worn at all times.
