Tradition.

Casadei was born in 1958, in a small workshop in San Mauro Pascoli, where Quinto and Flora Casadei created the first collection of sandals intended for tourists who frequent the Italian Riviera.

It is the moment of the economic boom and the miracle of Made in Italy: in ten years, the laboratory transforms itself into a small company highly specialized in footwear that exports to Germany and the United States.

The present and the future.

In the 2000s Casadei has kept its roots of high Italian craftsmanship firm: leathers, colors and models are made exclusively with dedicated suppliers. The industrialization process of footwear then becomes a jewel of manpower, a heritage that is impossible to imitate.

Also in these years, international divas are photographed with Casadei creations on their feet, consolidating the brand in the imagination of the fashion system.

At the same time, the best talents of photography (among others Nick Knight, Mario Testino, Javier Vallhonrat and Raymond Meier) are the interpreters of the advertising campaigns.

Finally, there is no shortage of special projects such as collaboration with the best emerging international designers: this is the case of Prabal Gurung, a young star of American fashion, for whom Casadei created the shoes for Spring / Summer 2013.
