Slow tourism in the footsteps of Fausto Coppi

Following the myth of Fausto Coppi, among enchanting landscapes and places of art and history such as Volpedo, Tortona and Novi Ligure

Is this a land blessed by the cycling gods? It definitely is. Because this is the homeland of a superhero, who on the misty or green hills of the Alto Monferrato region pushed on the pedals to increase his muscle mass and breathing resistance. On the dusty roads of this extraordinary land – characterised by wine, parish churches, towers, truffles, and farinate (local savoury pies), and already traversed by Costante Girardengo (born in Novi Ligure) –, Fausto Coppi took his first steps as a cyclist and continued to train. He wore out his tyres dodging piles of snow and sheets of ice, or riding under a dazzling sun. All this labour earned him victories, songs, films, and consecration as a timeless cycling myth.
