For more than half a century, Vernon has been playing a key role in European space history. It is here, in Normandy, that the engines powering the Ariane launch vehicles are designed, developed, and tested.

This exhibition invites you to discover this epic journey: from the early days of cryogenic propulsion to the future challenges of Ariane 6, featuring the men and women who, day after day, build the engines in Vernon that carry Europe to the stars.

A journey through industrial heritage, technological innovation, and local pride. Here, space is right at home.

Free and open access

The exhibition is completely free and open to everyone; admission is free. Visitors of all ages can explore it at their own pace, with no reservations or set hours required.

To enhance your experience, a system of QR codes is set up throughout the exhibition. Simply scan them with your smartphone to access a self-guided tour featuring anecdotes, technical explanations, and additional content.
