Whether you’re shopping with us, having a bite to eat or enjoying our leisure facilities, we want you to always feel welcome and comfortable at East Midlands Designer Outlet, so to make sure everyone enjoys their visit, we ask all our guests to observe the following:

We do not accept intimidating, aggressive or derogatory behaviour of any kind towards other guests, our staff or our brands.

Criminal damage or vandalism against Centre property or retailers is illegal and we will inform the police.

No one likes a ‘litter bug’. Please dispose of your rubbish responsibly using the bins provided.


A number of our stores are dog friendly, just look out for the black paw print in store windows to find out which stores/restaurants are happy to welcome your four-legged friend. If you are unsure whether dogs are allowed in a particular store, please ask a member of staff before entering.

If you do bring your dog to the centre, we kindly ask that you keep them on a lead which is being held at all times, and don’t leave them unattended or unsupervised. Please also don't forget to clean up after them! If you’re caught short, you can grab a doggy relief bag from Guest Services. Our Guest Services also provide doggy treats to our pet lovers.


Selfies are encouraged, but for any professional photography or filming please contact us in advance, as you will need permission from the centre management team.


Filming, photography or sketching of the building’s infrastructure, or any members of staff, is not permitted under any circumstances. We retain the right to refuse photography, filming and sketching at any time.


We do not allow leafleting, canvassing or the conducting of third-party interviews or surveys anywhere in the centre or grounds, unless written permission has been granted from the Centre management team.


Whilst we welcome all cyclists, we ask that bicycles are dismounted when on the malls. Our centre can become busy at times, and we want to ensure the safety of all of our guests. You will find our bike storage facilities located at the front of centre, at Nike.


We offer free and accessible car parking spaces across our main and additional car parks for our guests to use.


Here at our centre we offer a meet and greet service for large parties travelling via coach. On your arrival, we provide 10% off a large number of our stores through our McArthurGlen Club and a goodie bag to take away with you after your visit. If you are planning on visiting us, please contact us via telephone or email to book. We do ask for at least 24 hours advanced booking to avoid disappointment.
