That sound? Oh, that’s the roar of the jungle as designers far and wide embrace the call of the wild with bold leopard and tiger prints. On the dressy side, purr in leopard print one-shoulder dresses by Hobbs, feline maxi-skirts by Reiss, and form-fitting mini-dresses, complemented with strappy heels and silver jewellery from Dune or Moda In Pelle. Make a big statement with head-to-toe matching prints (cat suit anyone?!) or use colour accents to break up the look. On the casual front, we’re loving the statement white tiger print trousers which you can team with a cute crop top and leather jacket from Reiss. Otherwise look out for animal-print shirts and blouses by the likes of Ted Baker and Calvin Klein, and you’ll be the cat that got the cream.

GRUNGE
It’s time to wake up your inner rebel as AW23 takes a nostalgic turn with the revival of the grunge trend, paying homage to the rebellious spirit of the '90s musical subculture. This edgy and effortlessly cool style is the rage at the likes of Burberry and APC, where it is all about embracing a devil-may-care attitude while exuding a distinct sense of individuality. Oversized check shirts by Carhartt and Jack Wills are the go-to grungy icon, effortlessly layered over chunky knits by Polo Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger for a cozy carefree vibe. Casual cool comes courtesy of long- sleeved t-shirts with graphic prints by Guess, bookended with retro canvas sneakers by Calvin Klein. Swap out distressed denim for check trousers or A-line skirts for a more refined rock’n’roll attitude.
The Canadian tuxedo, aka head-to-toe denim was once a fashion faux pas but now it’s one of the strongest looks of the season. A casual trucker jacket and jeans is tough to beat, especially when you throw in some distressed details to give it a grungy edge. Great denim is hard to kill, so think about finding vintage pieces to mix with more contemporary styles. A denim shirt by Levi's or Ted Bakervlooks super cool styled with a denim midi skirt by the likes of Calvin Klein and a pair of denim heels. If you just want to dip your toe into the trend, then a midi-dress with chunky shoes and a neutral tone bag will still bring out the best in blue.
Autumn is the best season to embark on a proverbial hop to the Ivy League of fashion and take a leaf out of the ever-readable preppy handbook. Beautifully elevated by the likes of Chanel, Prada, and Emporio Armani this season, preppy silhouettes in the form of Clueless-esque tailored tweed twin-sets are the go-to look for a fresh and feminine take on a timeless style. Pleated skirts by Hollister and Polo Ralph Lauren are a fun counterpart to striped rugby jerseys, while chic feminine cardigans by Tommy Hilfiger and Ted Baker provide a romantic layer to wear over delicate Georgette blouses. Keep your colour palette understated for an elegant attitude, focusing on neutral tones and soft pastels for a modern and sophisticated vibe.
