Terms & Conditions – McArthurGlen ‘Good Egg’ Prize Draw

1. These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) govern your participation in the gift card promotion (the “Promotion”). The operator of the Promotion is McArthurGlen UK Limited, Nations House, 3rd Floor, 103 Wigmore Street, London, England, W1U 1QS (“we” or “us” or the “Operator”).
2. The Promotion is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
3. To enter the Promotion, the Nominator and Nominee must be:

     
     a UK resident; and

     18 years old or over at the time of entry.

4. Upon completing a nomination postcard, you (Nominator) will be successfully registered to the Promotion and entered into the draw.
5. To complete a nomination postcard, you must provide:

   
    Your first name and last name,

    Your email address,

    The first name and last name of the Nominee, and

    The reason for nominating the Nominee.

6. The Promotion will end at 11.59pm on Sunday 27 April 2025 (the “Closing Date”).
7. The winner will receive a £250 McArthurGlen Gift Card and a £50 voucher towards a meal at any of the York Designer Outlets restaurants and two runners up will receive a £50 McArthurGlen Gift Card. Please note that the McArthurGlen Gift Card is subject to separate terms and conditions.
8. The Operator reserves the right to replace the McArthurGlen Gift Card with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Operator’s control make it necessary to do so.
9. The winner will be chosen by a random draw performed by a computer. The Nominator will be contacted by the Guest Services Team by the email address provided on or before Wednesday 30 April 2025. The Nominator and Operator will agree a date and time to meet at Guest Services at the York Designer Outlet for the Nominee to redeem their prize. The Nominee must produce government issued photographic identification for inspection.
10. The Nominator will have 7 (seven) days’ to respond to the Guest Services Team and 30 (thirty) days’ to collect their prize thereafter. If the winner does not respond and/or collect their prize within these timeframes, a new winner will be chosen.
11. Winners of the Promotion may be requested (but not required) to participate in publicity related to this Promotion in media which may include but is not limited to the publication of the Nominators name and photographs on the Operator’s social media accounts.
12. The Operator and any participating brand employees are not permitted to participate in this promotion.
13. Participation in the Promotion is limited to one entry per Nominator.
14. Any entry that does not comply with the Terms and Conditions, is incomplete or contains incorrect contact details will be considered null and void.
15. The McArthurGlen Gift Cards are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative is offered. The McArthurGlen Gift Card is only redeemable at any McArthurGlen Outlet in the UK.
16. The decision of the Operator regarding any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding and no further correspondence will be entered.
17. The Operator must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, the Operator will send the surname and county of the winner and confirmation of the number of valid entries, to anyone who e-mails enquiries@yorkdesigneroutlet.com or writes to York Designer Outlet Centre (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within 1 (one) month after the Closing Date. If you object to any or all of your surname and/or county being published or made available, please send an e-mail to enquiries@yorkdesigneroutlet.com or write to the address set out earlier in this paragraph 16. In such circumstances, the Operator must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
18. Employees of the Operator, their agents and families, suppliers and associated companies are excluded from the Promotion.
19. Nominators are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions upon entry. The Operator reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award prizes, to anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
20. The Operator reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the Promotion and/or review and revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without giving prior notice and by continuing to take part in the Promotion subsequent to any revision of these Terms and Conditions, users shall be deemed to have agreed to any such new or amended terms.
21. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Operator, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of the taking up of a prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of the Operator, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
22. Any personal data relating to the Promotion will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and the McArthurGlen Privacy Notice (found online at - https://www.mcarthurglen.com/en/privacy-notice/) and will not be disclosed to any third party without the participants prior consent other than as indicated by these Terms and Conditions.
23. This promotion is governed by English law and is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
