With this idea, the two hit the spirit of the 80s – Italian fashion represented a status symbol at that time and was sought-after as a souvenir, since the German fashion market was dominated by domestic fashion brands.

In the same year, the first men’s collection was created in Germany. A few years later – in 1991 the first women’s collection was launched.
