Project Update

The McArthurGlen Paris-Giverny centre is moving up a gear.

Construction work is progressing in Douains, 10 minutes from Vernon, on the site of the only designer outlet west of Paris and the project is gaining interest from brands.

McArthurGlen Paris-Giverny

Our project, which will open its doors early 2023, is gaining a lot of interest from brands, which gives us confidence in spite of a challenging economic climate. At the end of September 2021, 70% of the retail space at McArthurGlen Paris-Giverny Designer Outlet, has now been either leased or is in advanced negotiations with 65 out of 100 units already committed, which Pascale Martin, Regional Leasing Director for France & Belgium, was delighted about:

"It's a real reward for the whole of our leasing team to see the extent to which our long-standing brand partners are following us on this new Normandy adventure. I must say, the project is really living up to our group's ambitions, which is to create a vision that really showcases this designer outlet to the west of Paris. We're proposing a very innovative architectural concept, with full-height windows which will put the spotlight on the collections we display. This open-air shopping village - which can be seen from Autoroute 13 and is located right next to an exit - is just 45 minutes from Paris and less than 40 minutes from Rouen. The Artisans House, which will offer unique local craftsmanship, will entice tourists and locals alike. There are so many desirable aspects that are attracting brands which we've worked hand-in-hand with for many years."
