Les Carrières de Lumières

Enjoy a unique experience at the Carrières de Lumières by attending it's two immersive digital projections.


Since its opening, the Carrières des Lumières have hosted an immersive digital exhibition dedicated to a great name in the history of art, produced by Culturespaces Digital.

You can now see the two permanent exhibitions : Venice, the Serenissima, Yves Klein, the blue infinity as well as Destination Cosmos: the ultimate challenge (Only in the evening, 23 dates between 3rd June and 30th December)

Hôtel de Caumont

Located in the centre of “Aix en Provence”, a few steps from “Le Cours Mirabeau”, this art centre in a private mansion is one of the most beautiful in the city. From the main courtyard to the gardens and the historic sitting rooms, the visit evokes the refined atmosphere of the 18th century.

Built between 1715 and 1742, it has been classified as a historical monument since 16th February 1990.

It hosts important temporary exhibitions dedicated to the great names in the history of art, from the 14th century to the present day.  At the moment, discover the Raoul Dufy exhibition "L'ivresse de la couleur" from 6th May to 18th September 2022.

The hotel also houses the Café Caumont, which is located on the ground floor of the art centre. “Jazz à Caumont" evenings are held from 18th June to 14th September from 7.30pm.

Le Mucem

Symbol of the new Marseille

The Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilizations (MUCEM) is located in Marseille. With nearly 45,000 m², it is the first major national museum dedicated to the Mediterranean and European civilizations.

Well situated at the entrance to the Vieux-Port, the MUCEM is easily recognisable. Connected to Fort Saint-Jean by a large suspended footbridge, the J4, with its elegant concrete facade, offers a walk with breathtaking views.

It offers temporary exhibitions often linked to current artistic or social events.

You can currently find the Pharaohs Superstars exhibition from 22nd June to 17th October and the Atlas in Motion exhibition from 8th July to 9th October.
