The Five Guys story began back in 1986, when Jerry and Janie Murrell asked their three sons one simple question: would you rather go to college or start a business? The boys chose entrepreneurship, and soon after, the Murrell family opened a small takeaway restaurant in Arlington, Virginia. What started as a family venture went on to become a true American burger institution, bringing the Five Guys experience to fans around the world.
In 2016, Five Guys opened its very first restaurant in France. Ten years later, we’re celebrating an incredible decade of sharing our passion for great burgers and fries with our French fans.
For 10 years, we’ve stayed true to what makes Five Guys, Five Guys: fresh ingredients, quality you can taste, and great burgers and fries prepared simply and with care.
Here’s to 10 delicious years in France — and many more to come!
