A record number of new brands open at McArthurGlen

McArthurGlen's leasing team completed nearly 600 leasing deals across the Group's portfolio of 20 McArthurGlen Designer Outlets in 2014.

Brands expanding with McArthurGlen include such sought-after luxury names as: Armani at Troyes (Reims - France); Barbour at Ashford; Furla at Cheshire Oaks (Manchester - Engand), Neumünster (Hamburg - Germany) and Troyes; Gucci at Noventa di Piave (Venice - Italy), Neumünster and Serravalle (Milan); Hugo Boss at Troyes; La Perla at Luxembourg and Parndorf (Vienna); Moncler at Parndorf; Versace at Athens, Castel Romano (Rome), La Reggia (Naples - Italy) and Neumünster; and Wolford at Troyes.

New luxury, premium and lifestyle brands to have opened last year with Europe's leader in designer outlet retailing include:

  • Modern New York luxury brand Coach at Castel Romano Designer Outlet (nearest city destination - Rome)
  • French luxury brand Sonia Rykiel at Troyes (Reims - France),
  • French womenswear designer Vanesso Bruno at Roubaix (Lille).
  • Italian menswear brand Kiton at Noventa di Piave (Venice) and La Reggia (Naples).
  • Danish jewellery brand Pandora at Parndorf (Vienna), Neumünster (Hamburg -  Germany) and Roermond (Düsseldorf - Germany)
  • British jewellery and watch brand Ernest Jones at Bridgend (Wales) East Midlands (Nottingham - England) and Swindon (England).
  • German lifestyle brand Jack Wolfskin at Parndorf (Vienna), Roermond (Düsseldorf - Germany) and Cheshire Oaks (Manchester - England).
  • Amsterdam fashion brands Scotch & Soda and SuperTrash both at Roermond (Düsseldorf - Germany).
  • British menswear brand Lyle & Scott at Ashford (London) and fashion brand Jack Wills at Cheshire Oaks (Manchester - England).
  • Swiss sportswear brand Mammut at Parndorf (Vienna) and British sportswear retailer Snow & Rock at Bridgend (Wales).
  • L'Oréal  Paris at Roubaix, Troyes, Castel Romano, La Reggia and Parndorf.

Looking forward in 2015, Adrian Nelson, McArthurGlen's Group Leasing Director, says: "2015 will be another busy year as luxury and premium brands expand their sales' channels to include outlet retailing as a way of expanding their customer base while maintaining their brand identity. Designer Outlets have become part of an integrated, multi-channel approach to retailing."

In 2015, McArthurGlen will launch its first Designer Outlet outside Europe, in Vancouver, as well as new expansions to Swindon Designer Outlet (Bath - England) and McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Neumünster (Hamburg - Germany).
