The District of Joy is an artistic and cultural exhibition dedicated to LGBTQIA+ issues, designed to fit into the neighborhood that rises around Parco Ravizza during Pride Week 2024.
The initiative is proposed as a widespread container of free events and activities for the city of Milan, an amalgam of cultural, informative and artistic moments which starting from the park spaces embraces the entire surrounding area, actively involving citizens and positively impacting the territory.
The event, scheduled from 24 to 30 June, is organized with the support of some of the most important cultural entities in the area: Santeria, Arci Bellezza, Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi, MaMu – Magazzino Musica, Libreria Egea, as well as thanks to the support from Bocconi University.
With this project we strengthen our connection with the city of Milan in the wake of the initiatives promoted in the two-year period 2022-23 within the Parco Ravizza area, enhanced through a series of interventions designed to strengthen its centrality in terms of liveability, safety and sociality for citizens.
LOREDANA BERTÈ

intrinsically rock and always a symbol of authenticity and strength, it is
undoubtedly one of the country's most loved characters.
DANIELE GATTANO
Daniele Gattano, comedian known for his presence on Colorado and Comedy Central and for his stand-up comedy shows, hosted Bologna Pride, three editions of Milano Pride and, on the channel
Real Time television, the Diversity Media Awards.
MYDRAMA
Alessandra Martinelli, aka Mydrama, is an emerging talent of contemporary music, who exploded thanks to a characteristic and exciting vocal style. He participated in the 2020 edition of X Factor, winning over judge Hell Raton.
THE B. FUJIKO
Choreographer, dancer and pioneer of the national ballroom scene, she is the founder of Bballroom, with which she organizes balls and events, and of the Unagəncy agency, known for its desire to represent performers who do not conform to the canons of the commercial world.
Guernika, born in 1995, approached music by watching her father play the piano and began studying it as a child, later also approaching the study of singing. He writes pop, but feels rock and searches in his music for the perfect synthesis between the contaminations of different musical worlds and styles, often drawing
with 80s sounds.
LINOLEUM
With a history of more than 500 events and musical projects, Linoleum is a format born in 2014 which over the years has become a true point of reference in the world of Milanese clubbing, which aims to offer
a new mode of entertainment capable of putting people at the centre.
HOLY MANU
Santa Manu, passionate about music from an early age, is a multifaceted DJ who, with a keen and authentic artistic eye, draws inspiration from Italian composers of the 50s and 60s, directing both the visual and musical aspects of her own projects, in a mix of tradition and innovation.
MILAN SONGWRITERS
Milano Cantautori is a musical project curated by Arci Bellezza, a place of space and discussion for singer-songwriter music enthusiasts and artists who intend to propose and promote their songs in front of an attentive and sensitive audience.
WEEK EVENTS
The District Of Joy
"QUEER È ORA" - PHOTO EXHIBITION
Location: Bocconi campus park
Timing: Opening 6.30pm
The week of events will open with the opening of "Queer è ora",
a photographic project of artistic and social research born with
the intent to tell stories and experiences of people belonging to it
to the LGBTQIA+ community, on display in the en plein air spaces
of the public park of the new Bocconi campus.
The exhibition will be available from 24 to 30 June from 08:00 to 20:00.
"TRACCE" - PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION
Location: Santeria Toscana 31
Timing: Opening 7pm
The project, entitled Tracce e
edited by Elia Gabassi and Davide Ragazzoni, exploits the power
of images to outline a path made by the signs that
memory leaves deep within the individual.
The exhibition will be available from 25 to 30 June from 7pm to midnight.
MAIN EVENT
Location: Ravizza Park
Timing: 7pm to 12am
The main event of the operation will consist of an evening concert organized in the Via Bach area, inside Parco Ravizza. Here a large stage will be set up for the occasion, on which various artists will take turns who will give life to a fun and engaging show throughout the evening. The party will consist of different performances, with DJ sets, different live performances and dance shows.
YOGA SESSION
Location: Ravizza Park

to Yoga and Tai Chi, accompanied by moments
regenerative treatments of mindfulness and meditation.
BOOK PRESENTATION
Location: Ma.Mu. - Magazzino Musica
Timing: 6pm to 8pm
The pianist, writer and radio host
Luca Ciammarughi will tell the public about the genesis of the work "Non tocchiamo questo tasto" and the intent to challenge decades of purely
heteronormative in the musical field, highlighting aspects
often censored by queer composers.
TAI CHI SESSION

COLLABORATIVE TALK

During the afternoon of Friday, inside the Egea Bookshop
Bocconi, a meeting open to the dedicated public will be organised
to issues related to the relationship between Gen Z and companies, direct and
moderated by the activist Vitto Pascale with the participation of
illustrious guests.
DANZARE IN CONTATTO

The green spaces of Parco Ravizza will also be the setting for
a theatrical project created by the Civica Scuola di Teatro
Paolo Grassi: Danzare in Contatto is a dance laboratory
designed to stimulate points of contact between participants, e
to allow them to explore their bodies and
the environment in which you interact, involving all the senses and
all sizes.
Luca Font was the protagonist of the redevelopment project by Serravalle Designer Outlet of Parco Ravizza, in Milan. Discover the tactical urbanism work signed by the street artist and the set of inclusive workout tools made available to all fitness enthusiasts. His was a graphic work of art expressed through shapes and colors in a constant search for visual synthesis, a fusion of minimalism and expressiveness.
Magnificent and colorful jewels create a glittering metropolis La Città della Moda is configured as a work of street art, an act of love for Milan, an urban regeneration project designed to enrich a community and to give it back the most precious thing: the space in which to live. The world designed by LucaFont creates a point of contact between the city of Milan and the streets of Serravalle Designer Outlet.
The exhibition, still present in the Centre, makes a corridor shine, leaving visitors captivated during their shopping days.
