Charity Raffle Terms & Conditions

By Participating in the Raffle, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Promotional materials relating to the Raffle, including all information on how to participate in the Raffle published in publications of the Ashford Designer Outlet (including social media if applicable) or on the Ashford Designer Outlet’s websites (the Websites), also form part of these Terms and Conditions.

 

Eligibility

  1. This Raffle is only open to residents of the UK and is not to be sold by or to anyone under 16 years of age or an employee of McArthurGlen. Any person found to be under 16 years of age or an employee of McArthurGlen automatically forfeits the right to any prize.


Entry Instructions

  1. The Raffle starts 00:01am (UK Time) 26th September 2023 and closes at 23:59pm (UK time) on the 26th October 2023.

  2. Any attempt to participate outside the Raffle term will be void.

  3. To enter the Raffle, entrants must purchase a raffle ticket from Guest Services, Ashford Designer Outlet, Kimberley Way, Ashford TN24 0SD.

  4. A maximum of 20,000 tickets will be available.

  5. The cost of a raffle ticket will be £1 (cash only). No discount will be offered or available for multiple purchases.

  6. Payment to enter the raffle must be at the point of purchase in cash only, we are unable to accept credit, debit card or any other form of payment. Entry to the raffle closes at 23:59pm (UK time) on the 26th October 2023.

  7. Players must complete the information required on the ticket stubs completely, or by affixing their pre-printed label stickers on each stub. We reserve the right to void any incomplete stubs. Voided stubs will not be entered into the Raffle draw and the entry fee will be used as a donation to The Rotary Club, Ashford, (registered charity number 1011388) for the DEC Earthquake Appeal.


Winners and Prizes

  1. The raffle will contain 37 (thirty-seven) lots, each lot will be drawn in order as per listed below., therefore there will be 37 (thirty-seven) prize winners per Raffle Period.

  2. All of the Raffle winners will be selected at random from all valid entries for the Raffle received by the Ashford Designer Outlet during a Promotion Period. There will be no prizes for any other participants.

  3. The raffle draw will take place at the Management Suite of the Ashford Designer Outlet on the 27th October 2023.

  1. The Gift Card may be used at participating retailers in any McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Centre in the United Kingdom. If not used at a McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Centre in the United Kingdom, then the Gift Card will be at the Euro or other relevant currency equivalent at the time of redemption. The Gift Card is subject to the Gift Card terms and conditions (which may be found on the Participating Centre's website, www.mcarthurglen.com/en/outlets/uk/designer-outlet-ashford/gift-card/terms-and-conditions or on the Gift Card) and is valid for 12 months (Validity Period). No cash refunds under any circumstances, even if there is any amount left over at the end of the Gift Card Validity Period. The Gift Card is non-transferable and cannot be sold to anyone else. If you purchase a product / service which costs more than the value / remaining value left on the Gift Card, then you will need to pay the balance.

  2. Prizes are as stated and are non-exchangeable and non-transferable. There is no cash or other alternative to the prize in whole or in part.

  3. In the event that, for reasons beyond the Ashford Designer Outlet's reasonable control the Ashford Designer Outlet is unable to award the prize as described in these Terms and Conditions, the Ashford Designer Outlet reserves the right to award a prize of a similar nature and an equivalent value, or at its sole discretion, the cash value of the prize. The Ashford Designer Outlet also reserves the right to award a prize of a similar nature and an equivalent value, or at its sole discretion, the cash value of the prize if in its reasonable discretion it is appropriate to do so.

Winner announcement and claiming of prize.

  1. Winners will be notified by email or using other contact details provided to the Ashford Designer Outlet within 10 days of the relevant Draw Date. All reasonable endeavours will be made to contact the winner during the specified time. If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available, the Ashford Designer Outlet reserves the right to re-draw another winner from the valid / correct entries that were received during the Promotion Period (but is under no obligation to select any alternative winners).

  2. Winners may collect the prize from the Ashford Designer Outlet. Winners may be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize.

  3. Whilst every effort will be made to contact winners, if we are unable to make contact within 6 months of the draw, unclaimed prizes will be donated to The Rotary Club, Ashford, (registered charity number 1011388) for the DEC Earthquake Appeal.

Data Protection and publicity

  1. The Ashford Designer Outlet will collect and process participants' personal information and it will be shared with the Ashford Designer Outlet’s agents, affiliates and, if applicable, any third party prize provider (including those outside the European Economic Area). Information provided by participants will only be used for the purpose of conducting this Promotion (including for prizes to be delivered) and other purposes as may be specified at the time of entry or on promotional materials. Personal information will be used in accordance with the applicable privacy policy in place from time to time (see mcarthurglen.com/en/privacy-and-cookies-policy/).

  2. The Ashford Designer Outlet will only collect the name of the participants and the email address or telephone number provided by participant.

  1. We are committed to operating the lottery in a socially responsible way. General

  1. The Ashford Designer Outlet 's decision is final and binding on the participants. No correspondence will be entered into.

  2. If participants (a) do not provide any of the mandatory information requested when participating in the Raffle; and/or (b) do not enter before the Form Expiry Date, their entry will be void.

  3. The Ashford Designer Outlet reserves the right to require the participants to prove that they are eligible. If a winner is found to be ineligible, the Ashford Designer Outlet reserves the right to award their prize to another participant and to require the return of any prize already awarded.

  4. Please keep the ticket or allocated number as proof of purchase.

  5. Raffle results will be openly publicized. We will publish them in a way that ensures addresses of the winners are not identifiable. The winning numbers will be issued on our social platforms & available from guest services.

  6. Participants must not do anything illegal and / or dangerous and / or that would put themselves or others at any risk. Save where it has been negligent, the Ashford Designer Outlet will not be responsible for any damage, loss or injury resulting from participants' entry into the Promotion or their acceptance and/or use of the prize, or for technical, hardware or software failures, lost, faulty or unavailable network connections or difficulties of any kind that may limit or prohibit participant's ability to participate in the Promotion. The Ashford Designer Outlet will not be responsible for any lost, damaged, defaced, incomplete, illegible or otherwise unreadable entries or Gift Cards. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall in any way limit the Ashford Designer Outlet 's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for any other matter where liability may not be limited as a matter of law.

  7. The Ashford Designer Outlet reserves the right at any time to cancel, modify or supersede the Promotion (including altering prizes) if, in its sole discretion, the Promotion is not capable of being conducted as specified. In the event of an error resulting in there being more winners than prizes for the Promotion, the Ashford Designer Outlet reserves the right to: (a) declare as void any claims or entries resulting from such printing or other error; and/or (b) allocate the available prize(s) through a further draw or to divide the prize(s) or the value of the prize(s) between the winners of the Promotion.

  8. The Ashford Designer Outlet reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. Any amendments will be published on the Ashford Designer Outlet's Website.

  9. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Disputes arising in connection with this Agreement (including non-contractual disputes and claims relating to the Promotion) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
