Between the Ship and the Flight: When a Designer Outlet Fits the Clock

Cruise turnarounds and departure days are the two moments when travellers have hours in hand and nowhere to put them. The ship docks in the morning and boarding is not until the afternoon; the hotel checks them out at eleven and the flight leaves at six. A designer outlet fits that gap well — but only when the arithmetic works, and the arithmetic is about one thing: how long it takes to get back to the place they must not miss. I will not put a centre into a turnaround day without confirming three things first: the drive each way, the time available on site, and the buffer on the return — and all three come from the day's own timings rather than from a standing allowance.
