Who is @yoga_with_alexandraa?
I’m Alexandra, a certified yoga and breath work teacher originally from Cambridge but now based in Folkestone. I’ve practiced yoga for 6 years, completed my qualifications last year and have been teaching classes in my local area ever since. I love my job as much as; I take great pleasure from helping my students achieve their goals and find it so rewarding helping people reconnect to their mind, body and and breath.
Alexandra's favourite beauty spots
Folkestone is a really special place to me as it is where I first started my yoga teaching journey. When I moved here in 2021, I knew that I wanted to be a yoga teacher and I’m so lucky that I’ve been able to achieve that dream here in Folkestone. My sunset beach classes are some of my favourite classes to teach, so I knew right away that I wanted to take pictures on the same beach.
I chose to try out my new fitness products at Folkestone Sandy Beach because being close to the the sea is the place that I feel the calmest. The sound of the waves, the salty breeze and the connection to nature really soothes me, I find it to the perfect place to practice yoga.
What Alexandra bought from Ashford Designer Outlet
Ashford Designer Outlet has so many really lovely things to assist with your yoga practice. Sweaty Betty was one of my first stops at the centre as, they have beautiful, colourful activewear sets that are breathable, soft and so perfect for yoga. They also had lots of sports jackets which are great for practicing yoga in the colder months, and especially by the sea!
I noticed that Under Armour had some really supportive sports bras with matching leggings and Adidas had a rack of lovely, grippy, green yoga mats & sports bags which are perfect for taking your equipment along to a yoga class.
At the Centre I purchased an outfit from Sweaty Betty. I chose a pair of khaki leggings which are such a pretty, natural, earthy colour and a white sports bra. I love having a really soft material against my skin and am always in need of clothes with a good stretch that can comfortably adapt to the movements of my body as I practice yoga poses.
I also picked up a pair of Adidas Ozweego trainers which are so comfortable and perfect for my walks to and from teaching where comfort is really needed. I’m really happy with my outfit, it all matches together so perfectly and the quality is amazing, with the bonus of an affordable price tag!
