Perfect Pockets of Spring Style
One of, if not the most popular trends on the runways this season was the re-emergence of the utilitarian aesthetic, highlighted by loose and lightweight silhouettes and garments spilling over with pockets. Futuristic visions of menswear from previous seasons have been toned down in favour of much more wearable earthy-tone field jackets and overshirts by the likes of Barbour; lightweight bomber jackets by Belstaff; and multi-pocket utility vests by Calvin Klein.
