I am a weighlifter for Great Britain and England, most notably I competed at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and I won gold the 2022 Commonwealth Games, which were hosted in Birmingham and I am currently training for the next Olympics.
I am also a proud dog mum to my German Shepherd, Kobi!.
I love getting outdoors with Kobi and getting away from the gym. Even on a cold, crisp winter days it just makes me feel so much better once I've been outdoors for an hour or so and had some fresh air. Much better than the sweaty, chalky gym!
I love Brierley Forest Park as it is very close to where I live and delivers so much in one place. There are loads of different trails you can walk along depending how much a walk you want. If you walk up the hill you can see as far as Hardwick Hall. This is one of the first walks I found when I got Kobi, so it's a great place to go together and remember when I first brought him home as a rescue.

There is so much at the centre to help with my wellness routine, I could have bought so much. I was in desperate need of some walking boots as I'm fed up of getting wet feet, so my new boots from TOG24 are a lifesaver! I also love my new hoody from Adidas as it is perfect for getting outdoors and also very versatile for wearing throughout the year.
The Final walking Outfit
My final outfit was a pair of Levi's jeans that I got for a bargain of £66. The best part is that they fit me really well, which I usually really struggle with, given my muscular figure. I also bought some walking boots and a jacket from TOG24. The jacket was probably the best buy of the day, it was £70, down from £250 RRP!! it's also a 3-in-1 jacket which can be worn as one unit or the inside zips out so you can use seperately as either a lightweight waterproof jacket or warm jacket. I also got a cute hoodie from Adidas. I really love all my new purchases and will be wearing them constantly.
