In the course of its history, JOOP! has developed from the celebrated German cult label to one of the most important international fashion and lifestyle brands. In 1978, founder Wolfgang Joop presented in New York his first collection under its own name. The
transition to the 80s marked the beginning of a unique success story. From the 90s on, JOOP! developed by consistent brand extension to a successful lifestyle brand that offers products for every area of life - from fashion to jewelry and watches, glasses to furniture and various home décor products. In 2001, Wolfgang Joop leaves the company. The brand is initially separated into various proportions to the Holy Family (Strellson AG, Windsor GmbH), Egana Goldpfeil and the cosmetic group Coty Lancaster before the HOLY FASHION GROUP becomes sole owner in 2008 of the JOOP! GmbH. The product range of fragrance remains at Coty Lancaster. Currently, JOOP! is represented in over 30 countries with a consistent brand identity.
